* Officer Selection Board to be held during June 2013 UTA *
We are currently forecasting a need for Cyberspace Operations officers. An Officer Selection Board is scheduled for the June 2013 UTA.
Only candidates who possess qualifications to earn the 17D AFSC will be considered for an interview. Please check AFI 36-2105 to see if you meet the academic requirements. This opportunity is available to all current 111th FW enlisted personnel who meet the qualifications and selection factors to become a traditional guard officer. Basic qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree (reference AFI 36-2105 to see if your degree meets the strict academic requirements to be a Cyberspace Officer), the ability to complete the Academy of Military Science before your 40th birthday, and a qualifying score on the AF Officer Qualification Test (AFOQT).
Package Items
A cover letter to the board describing your objective
A résumé outlining your military and civilian experience
2-3 Letters of Recommendation (optional, but recommended)
AFOQT Scores (or the date you're registered to take the test)
An OFFICIAL sealed copy of your college transcript
Other training certificates or documents you feel may enhance your package
Fitness Score print out of 75 or higher (with the run) and test score no older than one year
Packages must be received NLT 9 May 2013. Officer selection boards are very competitive. Applicants must demonstrate their ability and potential to be an officer. Your package must pass through the first screening process for you to be selected to meet the board during the June 2013 UTA. Merely meeting the minimum requirements does not necessarily guarantee an interview. For more information, call: 215-323-7108.
